Shani is a young boy who loves cricket and is very intelligent. He is an extremely talented boy from a middle-class family living in the Police Colony with his parents and older sister Komal. Despite being an excellent cricket player since childhood, he became the killer of his own father after something occurred in his life. Shani was entangled in the troubles of his house at the age when children play and lead a cool life, so he left his studies unfinished.
What happened in the house that caused him to leave his studies? His house had an issue that caused him to kill his own father in order to fix it. What was the problem?
Despite being a very smart and sports-loving child, Shani was forced to grow up due to domestic violence in his home. Even though he didn't want to, he had to stop his studies, and in the end, he murdered his own father. A child's development is not just dependent on his intelligence, but also on the environment he grows up in. This story illustrates how a child's home environment affects his mental health, both emotionally and morally. We are born like gooey lumps of clay. Next, we are shaped by the environment in which we live. Parents, upbringing, and conscious and unconscious experiences shape how we think and behave. In order to raise healthy children, it is necessary to provide them with a happy home environment.
In order to avoid spoilers, let's talk about the characters instead of the plot, they are all beautifully portrayed. Language is simple and clear. This is a well-paced and well-narrated story. Even though the story was predictable, I enjoyed reading it. If you are looking for a quick read with a bit of suspense, then this book is for you.
