This book serves as a comprehensive guide, offering a systematic approach to overcoming obstacles and breaking free from detrimental habits that hinder the development of positive fitness routines. With its eight insightful chapters, readers are presented with a wealth of knowledge and the author's personal experiences.
Each chapter delves into the fundamental aspects necessary for understanding the psychology behind our repeated struggles in adopting beneficial fitness habits. The authors astutely identify the psychological and environmental triggers that influence our mindset, particularly within this domain. Notably, this aspect stands out as the book's crucial focal point. Unlike many other works, this book recognizes the pivotal role played by our environment in shaping our lifestyle choices. The author's emphasis on this aspect is truly commendable.
The writing style is straightforward and easily comprehensible. While I personally wished for more precision and elaboration in certain methodologies, it remains a fantastic resource for individuals aspiring to incorporate fitness into their lives. The book offers helpful worksheets at the end of several chapters, enabling readers to track their progress effectively. While the book is insightful overall, I did notice some topics being repeated excessively and unnecessarily elaborated upon, which made navigating through them a tiresome endeavour.
In summary, I found this book to be highly suitable for beginners, as it provides a user-friendly approach to incorporating fitness into one's daily routine. It caters specifically to individuals who are seeking to establish a fitness regimen in their lives.
