Evie Jones (26) is an epileptic who hails from a highly prestigious and wealthy family. When she discovered the transformative impact of service dogs for people with disabilities three years ago, she broke free of the confines of her privileged life. Now that she has her own service dog, she leads a reasonably smooth life, though not without challenges. A seemingly routine work meeting with a charming single dad led to an awkward encounter, an apology, and the beginning of an unexpected friendship and crush.

Architect Jacob Broaden (33) recently divorced and now raises his 10-year-old daughter Sam as a single father. Due to his daughter's epilepsy and the emotional aftermath of the divorce, he had a tough year. His insecurities and heartache are particularly evident when he is around beautiful women. Suddenly, everything changes when he crosses paths with Evie, and his life is filled with surprises and a newfound connection.

The narrative style of this story strikes the right balance between charm, entertainment, and all the elements that make a rom-com great. As splendid as ever, the narrative is written in a swift and accessible style. Sarah Adams' writing style is exceptional, and I absolutely loved it! I wholeheartedly suggest this book if you're seeking an enjoyable and effortless read. The characters were fantastic—Evie was endearing, and Jake was delightfully quirky! Plus, there's a charming ten-year-old and adorable dog involved. The romantic aspect was everything you could hope for! Both characters shared an incredible chemistry that made the story truly engaging.
