Sravya Chandra, the wife of a famous actor, soon become politician Arun Chandra, is kidnapped in front of her house, and this high profile case turns into a murder mystery when two skeletons are found in the lake. Inspector Ashish is assigned this case, who is an honest and protocol-following officer. In order to solve this murder mystery, Ashish enlists the help of his brother Manav, who is a crime thriller enthusiast who wants to make a crime suspense documentary. While Ashish is completely certain that the main suspect is Arun, Manav believes that the real culprit is one of Shravya's friends with whom she went on a trip and was kidnapped on the last day of the trip. Since college, Shravya and her friends did not get along.
Despite the engaging story and easy language, I found the pace of the story to be somewhat slow. It is good for novice readers, but if you are a thriller enthusiast who has read so many thrillers, then you will definitely find loopholes in the plot. Overall, a good read. This book is going to keep you hooked till the end.
My Rating:
3/5
