The book is divided into two parts covering two phases of Neel's life (the protagonist), intertwined with emotions and experiences. Part one is all about Neel's college life and his love life while part two is an emotional journey of a father, who is being a doctor struggling to save his son's life.
Neel met the love of his life at his undergraduate medical college. Years later, fiction blends into reality, and Neel, now a practicing doctor, happily married and the father of two sons. The life of his son is plagued with a deadly, unyielding disease, and the very system Neel had sworn his allegiance to, stood against him, insensitively playing the villain.
What happens when you realize that years of training are too little to save the life of your son?
The book tells us about the personal and professional life of a doctor and how a doctor always maintains a balance between both of them no matter what the situation is.
I will recommend this book to those who know medical terms and medicine and who found interest in it. All though it is a good read.
