Ramakrishna, a modest and principled teacher, finds himself devastated when his spirited bride, Nazm, is brutally murdered on their wedding night. Grief-stricken and burdened by guilt, he forms an unlikely alliance with the enigmatic and unpredictable Coffee Manโ€”a man whose relentless pursuit of justice walks a dangerous line between retribution and moral collapse. Meanwhile, a reclusive figure, long estranged from the world, resurfaces with vengeance as his only solace. Driven by a deeply personal betrayal, he embarks on a dark path, determined to settle his chilling scores.
The story builds towards an explosive climax as these lives entwine in a grim and violent dance. In their pursuit of justice for Nazm, Ramakrishna and Coffee Man must confront not only a brutal killer but also the darkness within themselves. Will justice prevail, or will vengeance consume them entirely?

Since this is a psychological thriller, Iโ€™ll avoid revealing much of the plot to avoid any spoilers. Instead, letโ€™s focus on other elements of the book. The writing is accessible, and the narration keeps the pace brisk, making it a quick and engaging read. The characters are well-developed, each fulfilling their roles effectively within the storyline.
Now, let me explain the reason behind my 3.5-star ratingโ€”despite the easy language and fast-paced narrative, I could predict the central twist midway through the book, which slightly diminished its suspense for me. Additionally, the story contains several violent and barbaric scenes, some of which are particularly intense. A few were so disturbing that I chose to skip them altogether. The writing style and narration are engaging overall, though there were a few moments where the clarity could have been better, as I was confused in certain parts.

Despite this, readers who enjoy thrillers, specifically psychological and suspense-driven ones, may enjoy this read. Avid readers might anticipate some twists, but the journey remains entertaining. However, I must offer a gentle trigger warningโ€”this book includes scenes of extreme brutality and violence, so please keep that in mind before diving in. Aside from the concerns mentioned, I recommend this book to fans of the thriller genre.

My Rating:

3.5/5
