The story takes place in Gurgaon, where two cases become entangled. Leena Puri is reported missing by her friend Bindia Sehgal, while Varun Dixit, a young event manager, is found murdered in his apartment. Varun's father Hari Dixit, an ex-policeman himself, is determined to catch the killer and offers Inspector Ajai Singh his full assistance. When Hari Dixit learns of the shady activities his son was engaged in, it breaks him internally, but he still doesn't give up. As both cases become interconnected, a web of deceit and plotting is revealed that reveals the killer.

There were two aspects that caught my attention as I read this book, first, the chapters are short & are arranged by date, making them easier to follow & second, the story is written as a screenplay. Readers will surely remain engaged with the story because it is quite intriguing & captivating. It is a fast-paced story. The chapters are short and crisp. A condensed style of writing has been used by the author. Since the chapters are short, even though the pages are 192, one doesn't feel overwhelmed.

My rating:

4/5
